Niewykrywalny dysk ide pod adapter usb

Witam. Zakupiłem przejściówkę do mojego starego dysku IDE ze stacjonarnego kompa i chcę go podłączyć do laptopa w celu odzyskania danych. Po poprawnym podłączeniu dysk się uruchamia, jednak że w eksploratorze nie pokazuje ani jednej partycji (na dysku są 3), w zarządzaniu dyskami również nie. Nie ma też żadnego nie przydzielonego miejsca...
Nic nie mogę na to poradzić, próbowałem wszystkiego. Program Everest nawet nie pokazuje podłączonego dysku.
