Gov. Sam Brownback works on plans to change school funding and pensions in Kansas | The Kansas City Star

Gov. Sam Brownback is working on proposals for changing how Kansas distributes aid to public schools and for bolstering the pension system for teachers and government workers, but he wouldn’t discuss the details in an interview. His comments came a day after he outlined a plan for closing a projected $279 million shortfall in the state’s current budget.
