Harris County sheriff's deputy faces criminal charges, department says - Houston Chronicle

A 25-year-old deputy with the Harris County Sheriff's Office has been suspended without pay and faces criminal charges, authorities said. The deputy, Jose Ramirez, faces charges of "misuse of official information," said Ralph Gonzales, a department spokesman. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, and Ramirez was meeting with members of the internal affairs division Monday afternoon.
